The water was about to rush over our home. We had a 94 year old and a ten-month-old baby. We were frantic. As I was carrying the 94 year old and the baby up into the higher building, water was starting to come into the lower one. The rain kept coming down. What the work of redemption achieved was that the Lord Jesus served as the sin offering for us all, and that He redeemed us from the clutches of Satan, made us repent our sins, and accept God’s salvation. He qualified us to go before God and enjoy God’s grace and blessing. That was the real significance of the work of redemption.

Question 3: I’ve believed in the Lord for many years and I’ve read the Bible quite a bit, so why haven’t I seen the Lord prophesying that in the last days He will become flesh again and become the Son of man to perform the work of judgment? You bear witness that the Lord Jesus has already been incarnated again, that He is Almighty God, and that He’s doing the work of judgment in the last days. Is there any biblical basis for this? Is this affirmed by the religious world?

Answer: Whether or not there is a biblical basis for God incarnating in the last days and doing the work of judgment is actually quite clear to anyone with their eyes open. The Bible prophesies in at least 200 places that God will do the work of judgment in the last days, and there is clear scripture proof of God becoming flesh to do the work of judgment in the last days. The Lord Jesus said, “For the Father judges no man, but has committed all judgment to the Son.…” (Jhn 5:22).“And has given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man” (Jhn 5:27).

Answer: Any major incidents of God’s work are prophesied in the Bible, and there are quite a few prophecies relating to the second coming of the Lord Jesus and God’s work of judgment in the last days. But what we should understand is that prophecies only tell people what will happen.     What is the most basic principle in seeking the true way? You have to look at whether or not there is the work of the Holy Spirit, whether or not these words are the expression of the truth, who is testified to, and what it can bring you. Distinguishing between the true way and the false way requires several aspects of basic knowledge, the most fundamental of which is to tell whether or not there is the work of the Holy Spirit.

    The incarnation of God means God appears and works in the flesh. He must first be flesh, flesh with normal humanity. The implication of incarnation is that God lives and works in the flesh. It means the essence of God Himself has become a man and flesh. Christ is the incarnate God Himself, the flesh donned by the Spirit of God, different from any man of flesh. He embodies the Spirit of God.
